Born Ana Paula Almeida, "Rayana" is the pseudonym of a Portuguese digital illustrator and otaku who stands in favor of healthy parasocial relationships with animanga and gaming entertainment.

From Satoshi Kon's movies to digital Japanese Visual novels, most my obsessions merge with a not-so-subtle passion for the importance of storytelling and archetypes in the path to self-discovery.

In 2007 I've joined the University of Coimbra to obtain a degree in Art Studies, with a specialization in comparative mythology and film analysis.
